Baby Steps

Today I met with an academic advisor at the college and was excited to find out that I only need one more class to complete my Associates of General Studies. I am thrilled! I have been taking one class a semester for almost 3 years now. Thankfully all my BYU credits transferred well and I was able to pass the Spanish test last June which gave me 12 credit hours of Spanish. All of that together adds up to the beautiful number of credits I need!

Now come the decisions of what to do next, which degree, which school, and how to pay for it (because 4 year colleges are significantly more expensive). Financial Aid is generally not available when you only take one class at a time and I won't take more than that until my kids are on a more traditional school schedule (compared to the track system we are on now). But, I figure it will all work out somehow, just as it has thus far, one baby step at a time.
