General Conference

Saturday and Sunday were special because of our church's General Conference. It's two days of beautiful music and talks from our Prophet, apostles, and other church leaders. It happens twice a year, April and October. I love Conference. It is broadcast on one of our local stations, via the internet, and by cable and satellite. It's a great source of strength to me to know that members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all over the world are listening to and receiving the same council, direction, and teachings. I was comforted by direction and council regarding the financial challenges facing us all. Their comments included how to face hard times without fear through obedience to gospel principles. Because we believe these men to be prophets and apostles of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we listen carefully, and believe we will be blessed by following the council given.
