Happy 40th Birthday!

Some say: Life begins at 40.
Others say everything up to 40 was just practice.
Either way, it's a milestone.
We did our best to honor my husband's 40th birthday this weekend. Our 8 year old daughter helped me make and hang this huge red banner on the garage door. One of his favorite things is home cooking, so I did my best, trying to fit in some of his favorite things: Crab legs for dinner, waffles with strawberries and whipped cream for breakfast, homemade rolls,
and caramel popcorn to snack on.
Of course there were presents and a family party at his parents! And we were able to sneak in a movie too!
