Bouncing into Summer

Time is creeping by as we wait for the kids to finish school. I've almost finished planting all my flowers and the garden is doing great. We are enjoying lots of fresh garden peas. We are thankful for the blessings of cooler weather and lots of rain that has helped everything get established before it turns miserably hot.

A week ago my daughter came home from school asking if I would take her to the store to buy a ball that has become the most popular toy amongst the kids at school. She had her own money and had decided that was what she wanted. We found quite a selection at the first store, but wanted to check another store for selection and price. Two stores later we found that the price was the same $8.00 everywhere, and the first store had by far the best selection. So, back to the first store we went and she is now the proud owner of a bright pink glitter filled bouncy ball. It's about a 4" ball, but the cool part is that the glitter and liquid inside swirl around whenever the ball moves. It's really quite cool. As soon as she got it home she wrote her name and phone# on it with permanent marker so as not to lose it
amongst all the others at school.
