Collecting Stuff

Today we took a small break
from cleaning my daughter's bedroom
to work on a small project.
In the process, I removed a piece
and asked her to put it in the garbage.
"Can I keep it?" she asked.
"No. You have enough junk.
You don't need any more."
"Ya, but this time it is something I'm really going to use!"
And she carried it off to her room.
I continue to smile and chuckle.
We are so much alike :)
