Crawdadding!

If you have never experienced crawdadding you are missing out.
A crawdad, also known as crawfish, are like mini freshwater lobsters. Our kids love catching them. It doesn't take them long to shed their shoes, tie a raw chicken leg to some string, throw it out along the shore of Strawberry Reservoir, grab their nets and wait. Before long the critters come out from under the rocks and brush. Soon you'll have a small collection in your bucket.
That evening, boil them up and eat them.

My daughter found that after you eat the tail,
they fit perfectly on the end of your fingers.
